Born was an idea in 2002, an idea that germinated within the creative minds of those who inspired an evolution called SSN. It was that idea that lived on in the light of values which are attributed to this prestigious department. The idea gave birth to AIT The Association of Information Technologists. Since its first breath in a far more challenging milieu, an arena so diverse that it changed the face of the world we live in Information Technology, it is being nurtured with passion, thirst and belief which made it rise against any conflict that plague any society. It always had a dream. A dream so intellectually productive! It invigorates in all of us - the ians. We pursue that with a character and professionalism. It inspired us to proudly say We are licensed to innovate!
AIT's Passion - CONVERITA
Converita is the nation's premier national level technical symposium. It provides an opportunity for students to use their creativity, passion, and knowledge of technology to help solve global challenges and make a difference in the IT world. While competing for cash and prizes, students gain real-life experiences, make new friends, and change the world. Now in its seventh year, Converita has grown to be a truly global competition focused on finding solutions to real-world problems. Around 4,000 students representing 250 colleges registered for Converita in each of the last 2 years. Converita is one way SSN encourages the brightest young minds to join together and use technology to take on the toughest problems facing our world today.
